Our customers have been telling us for some time, and now an independent judging panel agrees: we’re the best eCommerce delivery and logistics partner in Ireland!

We’re delighted, proud and humbled to have won the award at the Irish eCommerce Awards 2023. We’re grateful to the organisers, judges and sponsors for a superbly run event. Above all, we owe big thanks to our customers and to everyone in the TBM family.

We were on tenterhooks all through the dinner and the speeches at the Mansion House in Dublin as we waited for the big reveal.

One for the team

This win really is a team effort for TBM Solution, reflecting the superb work that our teams in Ireland and in the UK perform day after day.

It’s fair to say, we make ambitious promises for our fulfillment services, and we have to thank our customers for continuing to hold us accountable to a high standard, and who we learn from every day to help us keep getting better.

To enter the awards, our submission had to talk about the value we provide to customers, the pain points we solve for them, and the unique selling point of our service.

Why we won

We talked about how we work with all kinds of companies, from fast-growing start-ups to well established e-commerce brands.

We explained how we offer them a scalable solution for handling and managing their order fulfillment, which removes the challenges of not enough time or resources to fulfill orders themselves, or the costs involved in running their own warehouses.

We focused on how our solution lets our customers easily navigate some of the Brexit-related challenges of doing business in the UK from Ireland, or doing business in the EU from Britain.

For many of our Irish customers, the UK is a natural target for growth because it’s close, it’s English speaking, and it’s a market of 67 million people. But there’s a lot of extra admin work if you don’t know how to navigate it.

Our fulfillment hubs in Dublin and Bedfordshire allow us to take this hassle away. We showed in our wards entry that by working with us, our customers are free to focus on building their brand and growing their business.

The judges’ verdict

When they explained how they chose the winning entry, the judges made a point of noting how we had clearly defined our core customer, and backed up our entry with strong metrics and performance.

“The excellent sales team clearly knows the pain their customers go through and built a solution to counter that. The website is simple and easy to navigate and by removing complexity that can often be found in this sector,” the judges said.

As the ceremony went on throughout the evening, we found time to catch up with some of our current customers, and get to know some potential new ones.

We were also delighted to see the Smooth Company was a joint winner of the Business Growth Award and highly commended in the Best eCommerce Website category. Another of our customers, SOSU Cosmetics, was shortlisted and was unlucky to miss out on a prize. Congratulations to them both and we’re proud to be associated with them as they continue to grow from strength to strength.

A good night was had, and it feels so positive to have been recognised for our work so far. But this is just the start. If you’re familiar with our company values, you can be sure we’ll use the award as a motivation to keep innovating and keep improving. Our customers would expect nothing less.
