General

  • TBM Solution reserves the right to withdraw this offer, at any time during this period and prior to customer acceptance.
  • Pricing is based on payment terms of 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise specified in current agreement. Any payment which is past due shall be subject to an additional charge at the rate of 1.5% per month of the outstanding balance due, or the highest rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is less.
  • Rates are valid for service level indicated and apply to general cargo, excluding dangerous goods, Temperature True, perishables or valuables, etc unless otherwise indicated in the rate quote.
  • Airfreight handling for Airfreight Consolidated and Direct services are based on actual or dimensional weight, whichever is greater. Dimensional weight for Airfreight Consolidated and Direct services is based on the industry standard of a 166 (1:6) dim factor. The dim is subject to change.
  • Lane quoted is truck rate. Minimum charges will apply.
  • All rates are based on the volume provided by customer. TBM Solution reserves the right to revise the prices contained herein for changes if the freight characteristics do not coincide with the data provided.
  • Rates are quoted flat based on an average shipment weight of 500 kg. Additional surcharges may apply for shipments under this amount.
  • Rates quoted may not include all applicable charges, surcharges and fees. Final charges may differ based on your shipper characteristics and the characteristics of, and services requested for, shipments actually tendered to TBM Solution. Rates apply only for cargo of legal weight and dimensions. Legal weights and dimensions can vary by country.
  • Rates are exclusive of inbound collect surcharge, special handling, detention, demurrage, fumigation, insurance, storage after free time, customs bond, duties, VAT, taxes, user fees, courier and any other governments’ fees, etc. Export and Import customs clearance charges may apply.
  • Cargo from shippers who are not Registered Shippers with the Transport Canada Air Cargo Security Program and transported onboard a domestic, international or cross-border passenger flight departing a Canadian Air Transport Security Authority designated Canadian airport will be subject to an additional screening charge (Security Charge - Origin) in the amount of $0.15 CAD per kilogram of billable weight per shipment, with a minimum charge of $25.00 CAD per shipment. This Security Charge is subject to change without prior notice. Increased freight rates may also apply due to a change in service level if screening requires separation of cargo from a consolidated shipment with other registered shippers.
  • All rates, unless otherwise specified, will be subject to Peak Season Surcharge, Fuel Surcharge, Capacity Surcharge, Security Surcharge, regulatory fees, etc.
  • Additional surcharges may also apply for Airfreight Consolidated Hazmat service, such as, airline hazmat and TBM Solution dangerous goods fees.
  • TBM Solution will make commercially reasonable efforts to control carrier and vendor procurement costs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, rates and charges are subject to change without prior notice (including without limitation changes applicable to fuel, security, market conditions, costs resulting from compliance with regulatory requirements, etc.)
  • After the attacks of September 11, 2001, regulatory agencies defined known and unknown shippers/consignors. Proposed rates apply for known shippers/consignors. If shipper/consignor is unknown, rates may not be valid. Special screening fees may apply and are subject to change.
  • Rates are quoted in USD currency. We reserve the right to revise the prices contained herein for currency fluctuations. CAF will apply.
  • Carrier(s) will be chosen from our portfolio of carriers that offer the best combination of transit time, local customer service, ideal cutoff, space availability, etc. Carrier selection and transit time are subject to change without notice.
  • Transit times are approximate and are subject to change without notice. Transit times are port to port and listed in business days of operation and do not include customs clearance.
  • Pickups and Deliveries will be made within normal business hours within metropolitan city limits (or zip codes provided). Unless listed on the quote, additional charges will apply for Pickup and Delivery at beyond points.
  • Rates do not include special services (e.g., after hours, weekend/holiday, waiting time, etc.)
  • Drayage / trucking rates that involve transit in Austria or Germany are subject to the Road Tax, effective November 1, 2003.
  • If TBM Solution is not customs broker, a document turnover fee will apply per shipment.
  • Cargo insurance and/or declared value is available and can be added to each shipment subject to additional charges. Insurance availability is dependent upon the origins and destinations, type of commodities, and value of the shipment. The merchandise must be new, and all claims are subject to proof of value. Restrictions and exclusions apply.
  • Rates presented are for the Transportation services requested only, and do not include any IT development costs (such as EDI connectivity) that may be required during the implementation process.

U.S. Customs Brokerage

  • Rates are subject to general rate increase.
  • Rates quoted include first classfication line, thereafter additional line fee and/or accessorial charge may apply.
  • Importers of Record must be on self payment program, otherwise Advance Disbursement Fee will apply.
  • Rates exclude all duties and taxes.
  • Other outlays may also be subject to Advance Disbursement Fee.

Canada Customs Brokerage

  • Rates are subject to general rate increase.
  • Rates quoted include 1st 5 CCI lines, thereafter additional line fee and/or accessorial charges may apply.
  • Importers of Record must be on self payment and security program, otherwise Advance Disbursement Fee will apply.
  • Rates exclude all duties and taxes.
  • Other outlays may also be subject to Advance Disbursement Fee.
  • If Importer of Records is Non-Resident Importer (NRI) in Canada, NRI must ensure Business Numbers are be provided and be registered as NRI prior to implementation of services.
  • Rates are subject to receiving a clean database at time of implementation.
